Life - not something like it

Ok O,
So I've finally decided to join the blogsphere. That in and of itself may not be anything new but the fact that I've just woken up out of a deep sleep at 4 am to do it might be a little strange. But hey such is life when you've decided to live by the mantra - seize the day!

Let me start by introducing myself...My name is, well you can call me kenzie. I am just another naija babe. Although it so happens that most naija babes I know are simply fab, and hey I fall into that category, (if I may say so myself). I am a wife to a wonderful (if all too human) man and a mother to the most adorable little girl ( I tell you, I love my daughter, I mean every time I look at her, I resolve to be the best woman I can be, because hey this little babe is my responsibility and I have to be the best role model for her), my little chubbchubb. I am indeed blessed. I am also an writer on the sly and though I have a straight job that I am very good at...my dream is to one day chuck it all and become a novelist or screenwriter or both!

I love to read. And I read everything...my personal library is impressive, if I may say so...I collect books. I read everything from Chinua Achebe to the Devil wears Prada. I love the transformative power of the written word and sometimes I just like to escape for a few hours, so I read every genre...serious literature to Chick lit...Oh you intellectual snobs don't know what you are missing...a good piece of chick lit make your day!

Anyway.

This blog is going to be a space for me to express myself. I don't think I'll be telling any deep dark secrets. I hope to share some insights, some experiences and maybe some laughs.
